Damage & Safety Policy

At My Choice My Ride, your safety is our top priority. This Damage & Safety Policy explains your responsibilities while riding a rental bike or scooty and how damages are handled.

1. Rider Safety Requirements

A certified helmet must be worn at all times while riding.
Customer must follow all traffic laws and speed regulations.
Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
Only one pillion rider is allowed as per legal load capacity.
Customer must ride responsibly and avoid rash driving or stunts.

2. Vehicle Handling & Care

Customer must take proper care of the vehicle during the rental period.
The vehicle should not be used for racing, off-roading, stunts, or unsafe riding.
Customer must ensure the vehicle is parked safely in a secure location.
Keys should not be left unattended or handed to strangers.

3. Damage Responsibility

The customer is fully responsible for any physical damage to the vehicle.
All repair costs must be borne by the customer.
Deductions will be made from the security deposit if applicable.
Final damage cost will be based on estimates from an authorized service center.

4. Accident Policy

In case of an accident, customer must immediately inform My Choice My Ride.
Customer must not repair the vehicle on their own without approval.
If a major accident occurs, customer must file an FIR if required.
Customer bears liability for injuries caused due to reckless riding.

5. Theft or Loss

Customer must immediately report theft or loss of vehicle/keys.
An FIR must be filed in case of theft.
Customer is responsible for vehicle compensation as per market value or insurance guidelines.

6. Safety Gear & Accessories

Helmet provided must be returned in proper condition.
Damaged or missing helmets/accessories will incur replacement charges.

7. Breakdown Assistance

If the vehicle breaks down due to natural mechanical failure, support will be provided.
If breakdown occurs due to misuse, customer bears repair & towing costs.
Immediate contact is required for any mechanical issue.

8. Unauthorized Use

Vehicle must not be used for delivery jobs or commercial purposes.
Only registered customer may ride the vehicle unless approved.
Unauthorized transfers or sub-rentals will lead to termination and penalties.

9. Liability Disclaimer

My Choice My Ride is not responsible for any personal injury, accidents, or loss of belongings during the rental period. Customer is solely responsible for their safety and must ride carefully.
