Cancellation Policy
At My Choice My Ride, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly. This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations are handled for bike and scooty rentals.
1. How to Cancel a Booking
- You may cancel your booking by contacting us on WhatsApp or calling us directly.
- Early cancellation helps us manage availability and offer the vehicle to another customer.
2. Cancellation Before Pickup Time
- More than 24 hours before pickup: No cancellation charges. Any advance/token amount (if paid) will be refunded.
- Within 24 hours of pickup: Partial cancellation charges may apply depending on vehicle demand.
- Last-minute cancellations (1–2 hours before pickup): The advance amount may be non-refundable.
3. No-Show Policy
- If the customer does not arrive for pickup and fails to inform us, it is considered a No-Show.
- In case of a No-Show, the advance/token amount (if taken) will not be refunded.
4. Cancellation by My Choice My Ride
We may cancel the booking under the following conditions:
- Vehicle becomes unavailable due to breakdown or maintenance.
- Customer fails to provide required ID or driving licence during pickup.
- Severe weather or unavoidable operational issues.
In such cases, we will either provide an alternate vehicle or offer a full refund of any advance paid.
5. Refund Timeline
- Refunds are usually processed within 3–7 working days.
- Refunds will be sent via the same payment method used for booking (whenever possible).
- UPI refunds are usually processed faster.
6. Early Return of Vehicle
- If a customer returns the vehicle earlier than planned, unused time is generally not refundable.
- Special adjustments may be made for emergencies at the discretion of My Choice My Ride.
7. Exceptions
- Refunds are not applicable for completed rides.
- Refunds are not applicable if rental terms are violated.
- Refunds are not applicable in case of damage, misuse, or illegal usage of the rented vehicle.
